What you'll need
Get these ready before you start. The form asks you to upload photos of each document — take clear, well-lit photos.
A valid Nigerian driver's license. Must be current — expired licenses will be rejected.
Proof of vehicle ownership or valid authorization. This must match the car you'll drive.
A clear selfie taken in good lighting. No sunglasses, no hats. Face must be fully visible.

Download the app
Download the Maidride Driver app. Create your account using your phone number. When prompted for an application code, enter the code from step 1.
Wait for review
Our team reviews your application and documents, usually within 24–48 hours. You'll be notified in the app when your status changes.
Hit the road
Once approved, go online in the app and start receiving ride requests. Your earnings are tracked in real time with full transparency.

What to expect
How much will I earn?
You keep 80% of every fare. Maidride takes 20% as platform commission, which covers the technology, support, and rider acquisition.
When is commission due?
Commission is due within 48 hours after a ride is completed. You can track and pay it directly in the driver app.
Can I drive any vehicle?
Your vehicle must pass a basic inspection through the app. Pre-2004 vehicles qualify as "Classic" with economy pricing; newer vehicles are "Standard".
What if my application is rejected?
You'll receive a reason in the app. Most rejections are due to unclear document photos or vehicle issues. You can reapply after fixing them.
Is there a minimum working hours requirement?
No. Maidride is fully flexible. You work when you want — there are no penalties for being offline.
How do I get paid by riders?
All payments are cash-based at the moment. The rider pays you directly at the end of each trip. Maidride collects commission separately via the app.
